On Friday Granny brought over 2 pieces of furniture for me to use at our house. I love both of them!!! This first piece is extra special because it was my mom's when she was a girl. She did her homework at this desk and even addressed her wedding invitations here. So needless to say-it's very special to me! Granny told me it was in the Sears and Roebuck catalog in the early 1900's so that makes it old old old!
I put this little painted table in the corner of the dining room. I have actually scooted it down a bit now but it still looks basically the same. When my buffet comes in August the dining room will be complete! Hooray!
Griffin is loving the swimming pool this summer. He starts lessons next week and in the meantime we have been working on getting comfortable in the water. Tonight he even held his nose and dunked his whole body under. Hopefully he will love the lessons. 
Our summer is starting off great!
