More Flu!

Well, I guess this swine flu comes on REALLY fast. Griffin was fine all day yesterday. He played normally, ate, drank, etc. Then as I was hugging him before Jordan took him up to get ready for bed he felt hot. So I took his temp and sure enough it was 102. So I gave Motrin and he went to sleep. When I checked him 2.5 hours later he still had a 101.5 fever! Ugghhh! So I called my Grandma the nurse and Jordan's mom the nurse....and then called the doctor on call at my pedi's office. The media has pretty much scared us all by reporting all these deaths so I was panicky! Griff has never had even an ear infection so I was nervous. I got him into the pedi at 8 this morning and sure enough his rapid flu test was positive for type A. So, please say a prayer for Griffin to heal quickly (he is on tamiflu) and for me not to get it! Apparently, Jordan is immune. But seeing as he is at work all day I still have to care for Griff. Who wants to sit in my lap and is kissing and hugging even more than normal!
