Today marked the day that we moved both kids up a step in car seats! We went with the
Frontier 85 for Griffin and he picked the Maui Blue color. This should last him the rest of the time that he will be in a seat since this one converts to a booster at 40 lbs.

Then we freshened up the
Marathon for Gracie girl. We haven't decided yet if we will follow the
new guidelines and keep her rear facing until she's 2 but either way this will last her until she is 65lbs!

I am so far loving Griffin's new seat and Gracie enjoys her super soft Minky fabric. Jordan was super dad and installed and fit the seats to the kiddos this evening. Now, I just need to run them by the fire station for a final check and we will be good to go! I can't believe how fast the kids are growing.

LOVE the fabric on Gracie's!
We keep debating on the new regulations too. Harper only weighs about 20 lbs and is almost 18 months old. I KNOW it's safer for her to be rear-facing, but it's so inconvenient when we travel. It sounds so selfish of me. I actually JUST got a new car seat in the mail (Recaro) yesterday, so I am thinking I may go ahead and install it rear-facing.
P.S. Your kids are PRECIOUS!
