Obsessed!

I just wanted everyone to know my two favorite websites at the moment.

1. Craigslist - In the past week I sold a lovesac and Jordan's old truck! Both in 3 days or less!! For full asking prices! You just can't beat that!

2. Secondrotation.com - This is a site where you can sell them your old electronics. Cell phones, camcorders, etc. They will pay for the shipping so if it's just sitting in your house you might as well!

Just thought I should share! Have a great weekend. We have to build a crib! Yes I realize I am having a baby sometime in the next 2-3 weeks but we just haven't gotten there yet! :)

Funny

It's funny all the things that you miss from your non-pregnant life when you are pregnant. Sure there are the obvious things, extra Dr. Peppers, being able to eat Mexican food without horrible heartburn, sleeping through the night. But there are some less obvious things that people don't really warn you of before you get prego. Such as buttons and zippers...On pants that is. I haven't buttoned or zipped a pair of pants in at least 4 months. Everything now comes with an elastic waist band. Which was totally cool and like wearing sweatpants for the first few weeks but now I want to button some pants!! Another thing I am going to be extra thankful for that I had totally taken for granted is rolling over in bed! With my new belly comes the new realization that I can no longer roll from one side of my body to the other. I can also not roll out of bed. Jordan has been enjoying helping me with this one though. He pushes me out of bed with his feet!! I really do need the extra help though.

Today at the doctor she told me I need to get gravity working for me so I need to begin walking about an hour total per day. So tonight if you are in West Plano you will find one whiny waddling pregnant lady, a very patient husband, and an overly excited puppy. She is going to LOVE our new walking regimend!

Happy 26th Birthday!

This past weekend was my 26th birthday. And it was really one of the best I have ever had. The weekend went something like this:

Friday: We picked up our beautiful baby furniture and then Jordan took me out to Abuelos!

Saturday: We drove to my parents house and had more Mexican food!! We also had cheesecake which I had been craving badly and lots of laughs and good times!

Sunday: Church, Pictures (read more on this exciting event in a moment), and dinner with Jordan's parents in Dallas....Guess what we had??!!! That's right! Mexican food.

So yes it was a perfect weekend. Ok so I mentioned pictures. I found an amazing photographer who I mentioned on this blog before to take Griffin's newborn pictures. And after talking with her Jordan and I decided that we would also take some prego pictures of the two of us. Oh my--We had so much fun!! You can see the pictures here.. http://emilythurmondphotography.blogspot.com/

These were taken in the Denton square and there will be lots more to come in the next couple of weeks.

I really feel like we are rushing around these last few weeks trying to get everything finished. I have been having some MAJOR braxton hicks contractions today so it really starts to hit home that he is literally right about to be here! And am I ready?? NO!!! But I will get there! Hope everyone is having a great week.

Only a few more weeks!

We can not believe that we will get to meet Griffin in just a few short weeks. I think it really hit me when we were saying goodbye to the twins this weekend and they said something to the effect of.. "the next time we will see you, you will have a baby!" WHAT??? It still feels so surreal! Jordan and I have noticed many changes lately. He seems to be in more of a sleep/wake pattern, he doesn't really kick as much as he does push out now, and he is VERY strong. I think I posted before that he really responds to singing. He still does this and was the most active he has EVER been during Sing Song. Jordan thinks it's because he was so so excited that the Moonies won! We are so happy for them and happy that Jordan finally got to sing their song on stage after the big win! Below are a couple of pictures we took, one at Los Arcos, and one at the show. Sorry they are weirdly focused, somehow my camera got put on a weird setting! I go to the doctor weekly now so I might have something more to post after the appointment tomorrow. Have a great week!

Happy Valentine's Day and Sing Song!

HI! I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day! Ours was wonderful. We stayed in and had yummy dinner and playtime with Izzie and relaxed. Jordan's company is moving buildings so he has had a few days off to catch up on some housework. We had so much fun telling Griffin Happy Valentine's Day and Jordan explained to him the meaning of the day (yes we talk to him ALL the time in there!) Now we are gearing up to head to Abilene. We are so excited about Sing Song. And by we I really mean I! ha ha. I love Sing Song. I love how exciting it feels to be back on campus and all of the old places that we used to go. Except this year I will have to skip a few of the finer places Abilene has to offer (BA, Wedge, Etc). And we can not believe that this time next year Griffin will be almost a year old and we will get to take him with us. This is the way our weekend is shaping up:
Sat lunch at LOS ARCOS!!!!
Sat dinner thing
Sat night Sing Song

Sun church at Highland
Fujis for lunch
Then back home!!

We hope we see you there!
