New Hair Cut and Drool

Our darling baby boy has become a human drool machine. I read that this is the beginning of teething so we shall see what is in store for us! Look at how wet his outfit is!

I also got all my hair chopped off today. I think I like it. For sure it is A LOT cooler! Please excuse how sweaty I am in the picture! I was walking Izzie in the 112 degree heat!

Busy Weekend!

I LOVE HAVING PEOPLE OVER! The main reason is to have people get to know Griffin but the hidden silver lining is that my house stays spotless! I ususually spend most of the weekend cleaning so we can start the week with a fresh clean house. But when you have friends over Friday and Saturday night it gets cleaned early and then stays clean! I love it! We had dinner with two of our favorite couples Friday night; Clark and Lindsey and JC and Dabney. Then they came over to play with Griffin and to have a "game night". We had so much fun that I spaced on taking pictures! Then Saturday night we went out with the cutest newleyweds, Dowdy and Katherine.

We have a big week this week, Tuesday I am cutting my hair off! I was always a short hair girl until I grew it out for our wedding and then I kinda liked it so I kept it. But it is entirely too hot to have all this hair so I am chopping it! Then Thursday Griffin is finishing his two month shots since I split them all up. And both Friday and Saturday we have work events for Jordan and then an early 4th of July party! In recent Griffin news he has learned to roll on his side and from belly to back like a champ! It's kinda scary because we never know how we are going to find him when we go into his room to feed or check on him. Here are a couple of pictures of him sleeping soo peacefully!

Swimming, Father Day, and More!

We have had such a busy week! We celebrated the start of last weekend by Jordan and I going on a date night. It was the only time, besides for a wedding that we had been out without Griffin! He brought me these beautiful flowers!

And I gave him his Father's Day present from Griffin a little early!

I also baked him this yummy cake from scratch!

The next day we went swimming and Griffin for the most part really enjoyed himself this time! And boy does this child like to be outside!




Who knows what this weekend will hold! We are hoping to see four of Griffin's favorite "aunts and uncles"! Have a great weekend!

Like Father Like Son

Some days he is totally a daddy's boy!

Such a big boy!

I feel like I have such a big boy on my hands now! In the past two weeks all of the following have happened!
- Hands are now open almost all the time
- Legs kick almost non-stop!
- Reaches for everything and once he gets it he tries to put it in his mouth
- LOVES listening to music and watching Baby Einstein (we ordered the whole collection)
- Smiles when he sees us first thing in the morning in his crib
- Can hold and shake rattles, balls, and other toys
-Drools ALL the time!

The spitting up has slowed a lot and that has made everyone happier! Especially me!! Hope you all have a great week! I have a HUGE meeting today so everyone keep me in your thoughts! :)

Happy Birthday Daddy!

On Sunday we picked up my Grandmommy and met some other family at La Hacienda Ranch for my Daddy's Birthday party. I dressed Griffin in a special outfit...


This outfit was Jordan's when he was a baby! I had waited a bit to try it and now it is almost too small! I hope that he can wear it a few more times! I wish I had a picture of Jo in it but you can use your imagination! Have a great day!
